Biography
Iga Gawronska (b. 1991, Poland) is an artist working in drawing and monotype. She studied Fashion Illustration at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, and completed the Drawing Development Year at the Royal Drawing School in 2025.
In 2026 her work was shown in Drawing Closer at the Royal Drawing School, London. She lives and works in Cambrils, on the Catalan coast.
Statement
I draw to get close to things I can't reach any other way: everyday life, the body, people I live with.
I trained in illustration and stopped drawing for years. Watching my son draw brought me back to it. Now I draw every day, in sketchbooks and on the monotype plate, mostly in the morning and outside whenever I can.
